BLOO hit the stage in Sydney for his much-anticipated Moon and Back Australia tour on Thursday, 10 March 2022.

Known for his unparalleled interaction with fans, the energy of the crowd was palpable and the excitement levels were off the chart on the night of the concert. VIP fans had been lining up since 3pm in the scorching heat, hoping to get to the front of the stage and take their moment for a meet and greet. Once doors opened at 7pm, a wave of fans flooded Space Nightclub and the excitement for the show went into overdrive. The show began 30 minutes later than scheduled due to the overcrowding of the venue’s entrance, showing just how eager and ready the fans were to see BLOO in one of the first live shows since Sydney re-opened after the pandemic.

BLOO’s interaction with not only his VIP fans, but every attendee at the concert showed just how much he adores his fans. His bubbly and charming personality shined through, allowing fans to see that there’s more to BLOO’s character than his bad boy persona.

Prior to the main act, HOWMINI appeared on stage hyping up the crowd and preparing the venue for BLOO’s artistry; which many fans were not expecting to experience. HOWMINI took the crowd through a range of grooves, although one thing was for certain, the audience were ready to have a good time.

Finally, the time had come for BLOO to introduce himself. He cemented his stage presence with a simple question… “Sydney, who’s your daddy?”.

A wave of cheers, squeals and screams overcame the venue; highlighting the dedicated fanbase BLOO has and continues to build in Australia. BLOO sure knows how to entertain – his vocal tone is unique, the flow of his lyrics are one of a kind and his charming personality has a magnetic effect that naturally draws people’s attention towards him. Many of the audience pointed out his outfit, especially the iconic glittery purple loafers he wore on stage. Moreover, his ability to capture the emotions of his fans and leave them wanting more is what truly stood out. In fact, fans had him sing ‘Downtown Baby’ roughly 5 times throughout the night.

What really made the crowd’s energy soar were the free shots BLOO had prepared for his audience. As we all know, BLOO is known for his unparalleled interaction with fans and prior to the show commencing, many fans pointed out their excitement to see live just how well BLOO interacts with his fans. Fans were blown away with how BLOO was able to not to only connect with his fans through his music, but also through a form of physical connection by doing things which people often do with their friends like taking shots.

During the break, HOWMINI continued to maintain the crowd’s enthusiasm and energy through a range of upbeat songs. BLOO had also taken the moment for a quick outfit change, wearing a ‘NIRVANA’ printed ripped shirt with bright yellow checkered pants.

The crowd’s energy only grew stronger as BLOO stepped on stage for the second half of the concert. What truly made the evening a magical one was the initiative and passion fans displayed by raising their flashlights as BLOO performed “Understand Me”, a heartbreaking ballad that captivated his vulnerability. Once again showcasing his undeniable talent as a versatile artist who’s able to switch from a grungy hip-hop song to a ballad that captures your heart.

The true highlight of the evening was BLOO’s reaction to fans throwing their bras up on stage. BLOO received 3 in total and swung them with pride as he performed his remaining songs, causing fans to intensely scream with excitement, filling the venue with echoing cheers. BLOO entered backstage for a quick outfit change, and emerged wearing an “I love Australia” printed shirt whilst carrying the Australian flag on his back.

BLOO abruptly asked the audience “I heard Australian culture has a thing called a shoey”, the audience once again raged with anticipation as BLOO was preparing to do a ‘shoey’ in front of the audience. As the audience chanted “Chug! Chug! Chug!”, BLOO chugged the beer he had poured into a new pair of Nike trainers before leaving his signature on them and throwing them into the audience.

As the night came to an end, BLOO thanked everyone for attending and displayed his gratitude for the support of his fans. The crowd clapped, screamed and cheered as BLOO ran backstage with a bright smile upon his face.
