IU becomes a ‘Lilac’ ‘Coin’ in comeback MVs

IU has finally made her hot return with a new album called ‘Lilac‘. Part of this album includes the track, ‘Lilac‘ and ‘Coin‘. She has revealed the MVs for it. So, check it out below!

For ‘Lilac‘, she has brought to life the city pop vibes that goes so well with her voice. This kind of bright sound really makes it quite relaxing to listen to as she sings so beautifully along with the melody. The song itself is quite uplifting and bright, which contrasts with the somewhat sad lyrics of this song. Since the track is called ‘Lilac‘, we see the colour purple the main highlight in the video. We have seen the purple train and her outfit that blends well with the overall bright sceneries. However, as sad as the lyrics, the video ends her being by herself despite how many were surrounding her at the beginning of the video.

The other MV is for the track, ‘Coin‘. In compared to ‘Lilac‘, this song allows us to appreciate more of her low register voice. She definitely sounds great in this range as she leaves us grooving along to this catchy beat. One can’t help but move along and have fun with this song. The video itself shows off her having fun at different places while owning every scene shown. She knows how to tune up the notch in her MV, leaving us enjoying every moment of it. Overall, it is another bop from IU!
