Taeyang and Jimin are the ‘VIBE’ with new colaboration track

Taeyang‘s latest release ‘VIBE‘ featuring BTS’ Jimin was released on January 13 – and the song lived up to all expectations and the hype that surrounded its release!

The song brings together two giants of the K-pop world – the influence of Taeyang and BIGBANG on the world of music cannot be underestimated and the hype surrounding a solo release from him is enough to send fans into meltdown mode. With the addition of BTS’ Jimin the song goes to a whole other level.

The magnitude of the collaboration cannot be understated. Not only is it a cross-generational release uniting superstars of different eras, it also connects two artists from the biggest boy bands of all time. If anyone can live up to that hype, it’s TAEYANG, the BIGBANG legend and lead singer and BTS member Jimin who not only has a voice that mesmerises, but has an unparalleled dancing ability. This collaboration is both effortless and smooth.

Their voices are so recognisable and soothing to listen to and the track gives each of them the chance to showcase their sublime vocals. Taeyang delivers as expected with his effortless cool charm and control. Then Jimin joins the party with that beautiful smooth tone that only he possesses and the song casts a spell over the most hardened listener. The overall song has a refreshing feel that harkens back to some of Taeyang’s earlier solo releases.

The track is accompanied by a suitably dazzling MV, which only serves to showcase the duo’s slick dance moves and undeniable charisma, both together during the joint portions of the clip and during their solo moments.

TAEYANG and Jimin both partook in the song composition along with TEDDY, a long-time collaborator and Producer for TAEYANG and BIGBANG. TEDDY is also the Founder of THEBLACKLABEL. Also participating is an established lineup of Songwriters and Producers in Kush, Vince, and 24 from THEBLACKLABEL.

In the first 24 hours after the single’s release on January 13, the music video accumulated an impressive 20 million YouTube views.
